Parents, did you know that research has shown that even young children show emotional benefits of giving? Children across the globe show more positive emotions when giving compared to receiving or keeping something for themselves.  Children and adults experience, what researchers refer to as, a “warm glow” of giving. Perhaps you can facilitate this warm glow by including children in discussions of- and participating in – the process of giving, as much as receiving.
